Suggest a Song for my MDS Playlist

Thanks to Jay Batchen for my new tunes!

And I am hoping to collect more. Could you leave a song suggestion for me by posting a comment to this entry? A song you think I might like to hear while moving along in the blisteirng heat of the Sahara.

It will be great to think of you when I hear "our song'!

Thanks so much!

Hey Colleen - First, I didn't know you had a blog, so I'm glad to have discovered it. Second, I'm starting to train for the NYC triathlon (my first!) this summer and have a few songs I've recently come to love that get me in gear when they come on the ol' iPod when I'm biking at the gym:

Band of Horses - Our Swords
The Dead 60s - Riot Radio
Pela - Lost to the Lonesome
Fleet Foxes - Mykonos

Rob and I are looking forward to seeing you this weekend!

Love, Ann

Colleen! Whenever "Suddenly I See" by K.T. Tunstall comes onto my ipod, I always get a second wind, no matter how far I am into my run. Best of luck to you! Miss you!

"El Tiburon" - Proyecto Uno -
"no pare, sigue sigue" means don't stop, keep going - when you take it out of the contxt of the song...it works :)

Me & Julio Down by the Schoolyard - Simon & Garfunkel

Don't Let me Get Me - Pink

rock on, woods!

I didn't know you had a blog either, cool.

Song, hmmm.... Very cool song to train hard to: "Put Your Hands Up" by Skeewiff. It's from a Speedo commercial featuring Phelps from 2007.

Mary J's "Work That" is great too.

Rock on...

I'm so excited for you to do MDS! Is there anything you can't stand? You know my favs, Lose Yourself and Kryptonite! Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles sure comes to mind when I think of MDS "here comes the sun and it's alright". :) xoxo So proud of you!
